Special Focus Dialogue - Early breast cancer detection

-

Breast Cancer series: #2 Understanding early cancer screening vs. early cancer diagnosis

This Virtual Dialogue enabled its participants to increase their familiarity with the concepts of phased implementation, early breast cancer detection, breast cancer screening and early breast cancer diagnosis.

Participants learned and discussed the current recommendations and strategies depending on the level of resources available in their country and in the light of the current COVID situation which has disrupted early detection of cancer in many ways. Cost effectiveness recommendations to close the NCD gap were also addressed.

This Virtual Dialogue is part of a series developed in the framework of UICC’s Breast Cancer Programme.
