This second dialogue in the series on Digital strategies shared insights into how organisations can stay ahead of the curve with digital, including looking at current and future digital innovations in fundraising and income generation.

Participants explored key trends in online giving, discussed steps to successful digital fundraising and learned from a case study of digital fundraising during COVID-19 from a cancer organisation.

Jen Lowthrop is a digital marketing consultant and travel blogger with over 10 years’ experience working in the charity and public sector. Jen focuses on creating quality online content to help improve awareness and engagement with your brand, be that through social media, SEO or Google AdWords campaigns. Jen has worked on digital campaigns for and provides training for a variety of charities, students and small businesses on digital marketing. Jen has also appeared on BBC World as their digital advertising expert.

 

Case study by

MJ Decoteau is the Founder + Executive Director at Rethink Breast Cancer in Canada. She is responsible for the overall direction, management, fundraising strategy and creative vision of an increasingly bigger and bolder Rethink. She has won numerous “trailblazer” awards for her work at Rethink and is known for modernizing the breast cancer campaign.
