The webinar features UICC Board Member H.E Dr (Mrs) Zainab Shinkafi-Bagudu as the key note speaker as well as other panelists from across the African region who will talk about a variety of aspects of cancer such as palliative care, financing, diagnosis, treatment ,PPP and UHC.

The 90mins webinar will be moderated by the CEO of Kenya Healthcare Federation, Dr Anastasia Nyalita.

We are excited to let you know that the upcoming south to south cancer discussions are all set. I would like to officially introduce you to the panel and the Keynote speaker.

  1. Keynote Address: This will be delivered by H.E. Dr. Zainab Shinkafi- Bagudu (First Lady- Kebbi State- Nigeria). She will give a broader aspect of cancer from the different hats that she has.
  2. Moderator: Dr. Anastasia Nyalita is the CEO of Kenya Healthcare Federation as she will be moderating the session.
  3. Speaker #1: Dr. Aminu Magashi (Coordinator-Africa Health Budget Network- Nigeria).
    He will be speaking on financing within the cancer/health space.
  4. Speaker #2: Mackuline Atieno (Executive Director- Kenya Hospices and Palliative Care Association- Kenya).
    She will be speaking on the after cancer diagnosis journey with a special focus on palliative care.
  5. Speaker #3: Prof. Karima Oualla (Professor of Medical Oncology- Hassan Il University-Morocco).
    She will given her insight on the state of oncology with a special focus on Morocco.
  6. Speaker #4: Dr. Mohamed El Sahili (CEO/CVO-Medland Hospital- Zambia).
    He will speak on the state of HR in cancer with a focus on having a well equipped facility that is well staffed.
  7. Speaker #5: Liz Kamandu (Business Development Lead- Francophone West and Central Africa- Roche- Cote D'Ivoire).
    She will speak on PPP and UHC
