Alcohol and Cancer Series

Alcohol and Cancer series #2: How can we ensure effective policies?

Description

This second session in the Alcohol and Cancer series looked at how we can work to ensure effective alcohol policies are adopted to help curb the global cancer burden.

Over the course of the conversation, participants heard:

  • An overview of the global commitments and recommendations that exist to help reduce the burden of alcohol
  • Experiences and lessons learned from different organisations working to improve alcohol control in their countries and regions

An open Q&A enabled participants to pose their questions to our expert speakers and exchange with other participants from the cancer and NCD community.
