We are pleased to announce that the Philippine Society of Oncologists (PSO) Annual Convention will take place from September 19th to 21st, 2024. This event promises to be a significant occasion for our community, offering valuable opportunities for professional development and networking. This year's theme, "Diamond Precision Outcomes: Diagnostic and Multidisciplinary Oncologic Developments Towards Precision Outcomes," reflects our commitment to advancing precision in cancer care. The first two days will be virtual, while the third and final day will be a hybrid event. This convention is particularly special as it also marks the 60th anniversary of the society.

Day 1: September 19, 2024 (Virtual)

The convention will kick off with a virtual session featuring specialized lectures from the Philippine Society of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (PSHPM), Philippine Radiation Oncology Society (PROS), Philippine Society of Pediatric Oncology (PSPO), and the Philippine Society of Hematology and Blood Transfusion (PSHBT).

Day 2: September 20, 2024 (Virtual)

The second day begins with a media forum, followed by a series of lectures focused on the PSO Cancer and Supportive Palliative Medicine Access Program (CSPMAP) Multidisciplinary Team (MDT) Project. Key topics include sharing good practices, implementing national cancer programs, and expanding access to cancer care. The afternoon will feature lectures from the Philippine Society of Urologic Oncologists, Inc. (PSUO), Philippine College of Surgeons (PCS), Philippine Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons (PSCRS), and the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists of the Philippines (SGOP).

Day 3: September 21, 2024 (Hybrid)

The final day of the convention will be a hybrid event, featuring lectures by the Cancer Commission, Philippine Society of Medical Oncology (PSMO), and the Pain Society of the Philippines (PSP). The day will also include the Annual Research Forum and the MDT Cup, culminating in a fellowship night to celebrate the successes and camaraderie of the oncology community.
