2018 marks the third and final year of the World Cancer Day ‘We can. I can.’ campaign. It represents an opportunity to highlight the great actions being taken – as a collective or as individuals – in reducing the impact that cancer has.
It also represents an opportunity to call for more to be done in the fight against cancer – and make the biggest impact yet.
Officially kicking off the countdown to the next World Cancer Day, the Facebook Live broadcast will provide a first look at the new campaign materials, a demo of the new website features and details of the 2018 social media activity.
The World Cancer Day team will also be on hand to share ideas and tips, and answer questions to get everyone inspired and ready to make an impact.
Tune into the live stream as we start the countdown to World Cancer Day 2018.
Tuesday 5 September
9am – 9.30am CEST
The recording of the Facebook Live session will also be available shortly after the event.
About World Cancer Day
World Cancer Day takes place every year on 4 February and is the single initiative under which the world can unite to raise the profile of cancer in a positive and inspiring way.
Coordinated by UICC, World Cancer Day is taking place for the final year under the tagline ‘We can. I can.’ and explores how everyone – as a collective or as individuals – can do their part to reduce the global burden of cancer.
