Master courses are online courses purpose-built by internationally recognised leaders in their field addressing priority subjects in cancer control or responding to specific needs of UICC members.
Delivered on the UICC eLearning platform, they offer a unique blend of modular learning and peer-exchange, combining recorded lectures and case studies with assignments and discussion forum activities.
Launched at regular intervals, Master courses are faculty-led and follow a fixed 3-to-4-month schedule within which the course must be completed. Participation is capped to guarantee a level of interactivity among learners and selection is on application. In some circumstances Master courses may be complemented by an in-person workshop at one of UICC’s major convening events, such as the World Cancer Congress or the World Cancer Leaders’ Summit.
The current cycle of Master courses runs from April to July 2021. An overview of each course is accessible below. Applications for these courses are now close. The next cycle of Master courses will be announced in July and will run from September to December 2021.
