World Cancer Leaders’ Summit ends with strong call to action in Kazakhstan

Governments need to fulfil their commitments to Universal Health Coverage and the cancer community stands ready to provide support

17 October 2019, Nur-Sultan, Kazahkstan– The 2019 World Cancer Leaders’ Summit ended with a strong call to action in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan. In his closing speech, the CEO of the Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) Dr Cary Adams urged the global health leaders to drive action so that Universal Health Coverage is achieved in every country.
