Call for expressions of interest to host the World Cancer Leaders’ Summit 2027 or the World Cancer Congress 2028

A great opportunity for UICC member organisations 

UICC invites its members from low-income, lower-middle-income, and upper-middle-income countries (as per World Bank Group classifications) to express their interest in hosting the World Cancer Leaders’ Summit 2027, which is scheduled to take place in October/November 2027. Submissions must be received by 31 December 2024.

Additionally, UICC welcomes submissions from its global membership to host the World Cancer Congress 2028. The deadline for submissions is 30 March 2025.

Key dates

  • 31 December 2024: Deadline to express interest in hosting the WCLS Summit 2027.
  • 30 March 2025: Deadline to express interest in hosting the WCC 2028.
  • September 2025: UICC Board decision on the 2027 Summit host.
  • May 2026: UICC Board decision on the 2028 Congress host.

 

Expressions of interest must be submitted by one or more UICC member organisations in collaboration with and supported by the local convention bureau and congress center. Find more information about the submission criteria here:
