Call for applications: UICC's Yamagiwa-Yoshida Memorial International Cancer Study Grants
Established cancer researchers may apply for a YY Study Grant between 15 September and 17 November 2025
UICC is opening the call for applications for the Yamagiwa-Yoshida Memorial International Cancer (YY) Study Grants from 15 September to 17 November 2025.
The grants aim to support researchers, clinicians, epidemiologists and public health professionals who are at least two years post their PhD qualification in undertaking collaborative projects in cancer research abroad. They are supported by the Japan National Committee for UICC, a full UICC member organisation since 1948.
The YY Study Grants offer a unique opportunity for the exchange of complementary skills and knowledge, as well as the acquisition of new research methods and techniques. Open to individuals from any country, the grants also provide opportunities for further training in research methods or techniques.
Since its foundation in 1972, the YY Study Grants programme has facilitated the professional development of over 330 Fellows from more than 40 countries.
