For people with the ROS1+ lung cancer, it is difficult to get more medication. ROS1+ lung cancer is rare, so it is difficult to get more biospecimens for research. We have to unite and to collaborate to get research done. As a speaker at the large conferences, we got a lot of attention. After we founded Stichting Merels Wereld, we initiated European research into ROS1. Together with the University of Applied Science in Groningen and the UMCG, we designed a ROS1 research program.
