Hubei Cancer Hospital

The main purpose of our hospital focuses on the prevention and treatment of cancer. We lead the registration and follow-up for patients with cancer in Hubei Province. Thirteen national cancer registration points are built and more than 20 million people are covered by Hubei Cancer Hospital. Our hospital undertakes the national major public health special programme including urban and rural cancer early detection projects. Screening for diseases including lung cancer, breast cancer, liver cancer, upper gastrointestinal cancer, colorectal cancer, covering more than 10,000 people per year. The hospital also organises large-scale public welfare activities such as the Beijing Hope Marathon (Hubei) every year to raise funds for cancer patients and cancer prevention research, and encourage cancer patients. Around 200 trainings about cancer diagnosis and treatment have been delivered to more than three thousand people in Hubei Cancer Hospital. We also focus on the latest progress in oncology both internationally and domestically, pursue clinical and basic study, and translate the front-line diagnostic and therapeutic technology into practice.
