Harbin Medical University Cancer Hospital

Harbin Medical University Cancer Hospital aims to take targeted measures towards poverty alleviation and has carried out 96 activities called “Fuyu healthy action”, driven more than 10,000 kilometres, provided free medical treatment for more than 8,000 people, and established more than 7,000 health files. The Hospital has sent 71 experts to serve more than 11,200 people at the grassroots level and it has carried out 25 teaching surgeries at the grassroots level as well. It has given 115 class hours and taught more than 3,000 people. The hospital has received more than 100 people for medical staff training as well as visits in grassroots cooperative hospitals. The hospital has also been entrusted by the national cancer centre and the provincial health commission with the task of early diagnosis and treatment of urban cancers for 450 patients with breast cancer, 400 patients with lung cancer, 190 patients with liver cancer, 330 patients with upper gastrointestinal cancer and 330 patients with colorectal cancer.
