Canadian Association of Provincial Cancer Agencies

The Canadian Association of Provincial Cancer Agencies (CAPCA) is a collaborative organisation that brings together provincial cancer agencies across Canada to advance cancer control efforts nationwide. Originating in the early 1980s as an informal alliance among western provinces, CAPCA was established to facilitate the exchange of knowledge, address common challenges, and improve cancer care delivery. Over time, its membership grew to include all provinces, and in 1999, it was formally incorporated.
