Breast Without Spot (BWS) Initiative

At Breast Without Spot Initiative (BWS), we are involved in cancer control via the following: 1. Advocacy: We present policy makers with sufficient data that is expected to inform the creation of policies/refine old ones all with the aim of increasing screening and treatment services across heath care facilities. BWS also advocate to diaspora organizations for the provision of medical services and skill transfer/research to assist tertiary and secondary health care providers to create sustainable cancer resources. 2. Awareness and Provision of early detection and screening services: We achieve this by active engagement with hard-to-reach communities, and by educating women and their families on best practices for early detection of breast cancer through self-detection methods.
