Course description

This self-guided course provides tools, resources and information that focus on the role of advocacy for cervical cancer elimination.

The course and the cervical cancer handbook, were developed by UICC as part of the Unitaid-funded "Scale-Up Cervical Cancer Elimination with Secondary prevention Strategy" (SUCCESS) project.

Course overview

The aim of the self-guided course is to provide in-country civil society organisations or coalitions with technical knowledge and skills to develop and implement successful national advocacy campaigns on cervical cancer, and covers the following areas:

  • Coalition building
  • Advocacy
  • Health financing and budget advocacy
  • Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning (MEL)

We hope that this course provides useful insights to stimulate discussions, and helps to progress your national advocacy efforts.

Target audience

UICC member organisations who would like to progress or develop advocacy efforts in response to the cervical cancer elimination agenda and Global Strategy.
