2021 UICC Award Nomination Form

The best Public-Private Partnership Award recognises UICC members that have carried out a successful and innovative public-private partnership initiative.​

Entry criteria
  • Be a UICC member
  • All entries must relate to a Public-Private Partnership initiative completed in the last two years or which is run on an ongoing basis
Selection criteria

The submitted initiative should: 

  • Demonstrate the final impact of your Public-Private Partnership initiative
  • Feature the integration of innovation, long-term relationship, and effective risk management at the conceptual or implementation levels
  • Show sustainability, replicability and cost effectiveness 
2021 World Cancer Congress attendance and registration
  • Nominating organisations should be able to send one participant to attend the World Cancer Congress, 16-18 March 2021, Muscat, Oman
  • Up to three organisations will be short-listed and a jury will carry out phone interviews with their named representatives during January 2021 for final selection
  • The Awards will be announced at an Award Ceremony in conjunction with the 2021 World Cancer Congress

Important note: each UICC member can submit a maximum of two Public-Private Partnership initiatives for consideration for the Award.

This is the person who in principle would receive the award on behalf of the organisation at the Award Ceremony at the 2021 World Cancer Congress. Should your initiative be among the three short-listed, this person will be interviewed by phone by the jury during January 2021. ​

Innovation, long-term relationship, and effective risk management at the conceptual or implementation levels – 300 words max

You may want to consider these questions while answering: What makes this initiative innovative and how did it allow a long-term relationship among parties? What risk managment measures have been put in place throughout the partnership?

Describe the overall impact of the initiative. You may also want to consider these questions while answering: Were there any additional positive outcomes? How were they measured?

Please describe the key elements or advices to use by others to successfully replicate your initiative in their own settings.
