ACS and WLF release "The Truth About Tobacco" video

15 October 2012 - The American Cancer Society (ACS) and World Lung Foundation (WLF) released the video "How Much is a Human Life Worth? The Truth About Tobacco" which sheds light on the global tobacco burden and devious tactics employed by the tobacco industry to addict new users. This video also reveals how much the industry profits per tobacco death. 

The video was unveiled at the National Press Club in Washington, DC, during a global tobacco panel discussion co-hosted by the ACS, WLF, and the World Bank. Developed by the ACS and WLF, the video highlights data from The Tobacco Atlas, 4th Edition a joint publication by both organisations. On the same day, the Atlas was also made available in a new mobile application, which automatically launches when you visit TobaccoAtlas.org on your mobile web browser.
