2021 Annual Report

In 2021, UICC members persevered in the face of the pandemic’s many challenges, maintaining and even increasing their level of engagement across UICC programmes and activities. At the same time, UICC worked to strengthen relationships with its members by keeping in constant communication and responding to members’ needs through online engagement and specific learning opportunities to help address new and unique demands arising from the pandemic.

2020 Annual Report

2020 was an unprecedented one for UICC members and partners, as it was for most around the world. In its work, the UICC team in Geneva was consistently inspired by the resilience and commitment shown by Individuals and organisations struggled through the pandemic in pursuing their invaluable work through the pandemic.

The Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) is the oldest and largest global membership organisation dedicated to the fight against cancer. UICC is the largest international cancer organisation representing all cancer types, across the cancer care continuum.

Cancer control aims to reduce the incidence, morbidity and mortality of cancer and to improve the quality of life of cancer patients in a defined population, through the systematic implementation of evidence-based interventions for prevention, early detection, diagnosis, treatment and supportive care.
