General Assembly

The general assembly is the supreme governing body of the Union for International Cancer Control. 

According to the constitution, the general assembly is composed of delegates from organisations in full membership and representatives of common interest groups.

As stipulated by the bye-laws, the general assembly meets in regular session every two years, ordinarily in conjunction with the World Cancer Congress. It may also meet in special session.

The general assembly last met in Shenzhen, China on 18 August 2010.

The next general assembly will be held in Montréal, Canada on 26 August 2012.
