2014 WORLD CANCER CONGRESS

Building on the success of past World Cancer Congresses, the 2014 World Cancer Congress will take place in Melbourne, Australia on 3-6 December 2014. It will be hosted by Cancer Council Australia. 

One of the key objectives of the 2014 World Cancer Congress will be to equip delegates with the tools and implements needed to effectively apply knowledge, take action at all levels and address priorities efficiently. It is in this spirit that the event’s theme has been chosen – Joining Forces – Accelerating Progress.

Known to be the largest cancer control event in the world, the World Cancer Congress programme will cover the hottest and most current topics of cancer control, from prevention and screening, to cancer diagnosis and treatment, cancer survivorship and palliative care, as well as cancer control systems. Delegates will be able to participate in a highly interactive  and innovative programme which will enable them to take their knowledge to a higher level, not only by learning and sharing but also by meeting the world most influential leaders and experts in cancer control and in global health.
