The YY Fellowship provides a unique opportunity to carry out international research and significantly increase your knowledge and research skills, preparing you to better compete internationally. Please note that the application closing date is 15th July 2016.
Please find below some key information regarding the fellowship:
WHAT
- 3 months International Fellowships with an award value of US$10,000 towards travel and living costs
AIMS
- to initiate, set-up or pursue bilateral cancer research projects with collaborating investigators abroad
- to receive training in advanced experimental research methods and techniques
- to exchange complementary skills and material
WHO
Cancer investigators, including epidemiologists and public health professionals who:
- hold a PhD (or equivalent degree) at least 2 years prior to the YY application closing date
- are actively engaged in basic, translational or applied cancer research
- have recent publications in international peer-reviewed literature
