One Week to Go: Apply Now for a SPARC MBC Challenge Grant

There is just 1 week left to apply for a SPARC Metastatic Breast Cancer Challenge grant to address the unique challenges of advanced breast cancer.

Header Paragraph

Launched on International Women’s Day, UICC and Pfizer have again joined forces to offer the SPARC Metastatic Breast Cancer Challenge with the objective of seeding progress and resources for the cancer community that drive sustainable change in addressing the specific needs of people living with metastatic breast cancer.

Up to 20 competitively selected organisations will be granted funding to implement novel projects in the areas of advocacy, policy, and education to maximise impact and outreach to women at risk of, or living with stage III or IV breast cancer.

We are delighted to welcome organisations to apply from around the world with the goal of achieving lasting impact in addressing the following key challenges:

  • Close the gap on patient communication and navigation of care options;
  • Raise awareness of the specific needs and challenges that face women with metastatic breast cancer;
  • Ensure metastatic breast cancer is embedded in national breast cancer policies; or
  • Reduce the incidence of locally advanced and metastatic breast cancer at first diagnosis.

The Letter of Intent deadline is 19 April 2017
