"The Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) unites the cancer community to reduce the global cancer burden, to promote greater equity, and to integrate cancer control into the world health and development agenda."
The ICCP Portal is a one-stop stop for cancer prevention and control planning. It hosts topic-specific networks across the cancer care continuum that identifies best practices, key resources and gaps in those fields.
Followed by the 2014 World Cancer Congress – focusing on cancer implementation science and best practice sharing, rather than breakthrough science.
2. UICC Members committed to accelerate progress
UICC is thrilled to see such enthusiasm from its Members:
95% of the current sold Global Village spaces are occupied by UICC Member organisations and the remaining 5% by UICC corporate Vanguard partners. All these organisations will use the Congress as a platform to showcase their successes as well as share best practices with their international peers. Have you secured YOUR space in the increasingly busy Global Village (20% discount for members)?
Melbourne based members are opening their doors to delegates for unique institutional visits
Experts from our member organisations are running some of the exclusive Master Courses starting 6 months before the Congress – register for the Congress and enrol on one of the 13 different proposed topics, ranging from best practices in prevention to implementation science, best practice in fundraising and granting and many more.
Member Organisations have also taken the lead in coming on board as Sponsors of the World Cancer Congress and have decided to use the event as a platform to launch their new initiatives, programmes, reports and activities.
