Do you have a bright idea to change cancer care?

For the second consecutive time, the Astellas Oncology C3 Prize® is calling for applicants from all over the world and from all backgrounds to submit their ideas for innovations to change cancer care. The C3 Prize, which aims to inspire and foster innovative, non-medical, non-treatment ideas, is offering $100,000 in unrestricted grants and access to mentorship to bring the brightest ideas to life. The Grand Prize Winner will receive a personal business consultation with Robert Herjavec, star of ABC’s Emmy Award-winning television show Shark Tank, technology entrepreneur and cancer caregiver. Each runner-up will receive a $12,500 grant from Astellas, and all the finalists will receive a one-year nights and weekends membership to MATTER, a healthcare innovation community.

Representing over 1,000 organisations, UICC believes there is a chance that talented staff from across its membership base might come up with the next big innovation in cancer care.

This is why we encourage you to apply for the C3 Prize if you have an idea that could improve the lives of cancer patients, their caregivers or their families.

Five finalists will be chosen for an exciting live pitch event hosted by UICC in Mexico City on 13 November 2017 during the World Cancer Leaders’ Summit.

Applications can be submitted starting on 19 June and will be accepted until 11:59 p.m. CST on 21 August 2017. The online application consists of answering three questions; a short, informal video is also strongly recommended, but not required.

Visit www.C3Prize.com to learn more on how to apply and receive additional information about the C3 Prize, including the full terms and conditions.
