Promising innovations – such as the use of imaging and artificial intelligence in diagnosis and treatment – are improving survival rates and patient experience, benefitting the lives of people with cancer in many different ways.

In this latest episode of Let's Talk Cancer, Dr Ben Newton, Global Head of Oncology Solutions at GE Healthcare, speaks to Cary Adams not only about how new technologies are revolutionising cancer care, but also how new models of cancer care are allowing health centres to streamline the process for diagnosis and shorten the duration between detecting and treating a cancer. This is particularly important in ensuring that innovations in cancer care also benefit low-income settings, where there is a significant burden of cancers that can otherwise be effectively treated in the early stages.
