Fundación Peruana de Cáncer

Fundación Peruana de Cáncer (FPC) or Peruvian Cancer Foundation in English, is a non-profit organization that helps cancer patients. We support low-income cancer patients coming from different parts of Peru by providing them with free accommodation at Albergue Frieda Heller (Frieda Heller Shelter) during their treatment at Instituto Nacional de Enfermedades Neoplásicas (INEN) (National Institute of Neoplastic Diseases). We also provide INEN and other oncology units with medical equipment and materials in order to help cancer patients. Scholarships and loans are granted to physicians and health professionals to improve low-income cancer patients’ treatments. FPC is involved in cancer control providing funds for cancer research applicable to the Peruvian reality like cervical cancer and stomach cancer, among others.
