"The Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) unites the cancer community to reduce the global cancer burden, to promote greater equity, and to integrate cancer control into the world health and development agenda."
The ICCP Portal is a one-stop stop for cancer prevention and control planning. It hosts topic-specific networks across the cancer care continuum that identifies best practices, key resources and gaps in those fields.
For over 30 years, the Quebec Cancer Foundation has been making a positive difference in the daily lives of men and women battling cancer by providing them with living environments and services that promote their well-being.
The Foundation’s network of four Lodges – the largest in Quebec – accommodates people with cancer and their loved ones in a friendly, compassionate setting. It offers residents a positive, soothing and reassuring living environment at an affordable cost.
Through their free Info-cancer services, people with cancer and their loved ones can obtain information and reassurance from anywhere in Quebec.
A pioneer in the delivery of complementary therapies, the Foundation offers support services to ease the daily lives of those with cancer: massage therapy, art therapy and kinesiology. The services are available at its Regional Centres and Lodges at little or no cost.
Quebec Cancer Foundation was accepted as a UICC full member in 1984.
