"The Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) unites the cancer community to reduce the global cancer burden, to promote greater equity, and to integrate cancer control into the world health and development agenda."
The ICCP Portal is a one-stop stop for cancer prevention and control planning. It hosts topic-specific networks across the cancer care continuum that identifies best practices, key resources and gaps in those fields.
Through its 24 Member Organisations, representing over 50,000 professionals, ECCO is the only multidisciplinary organisation that connects and responds to all stakeholders in oncology Europe-wide.
ECCO is a non-profit association that exists to uphold the right of all European cancer patients to the best possible treatment and care, promote interaction between all organisations involved in cancer research, education, treatment and care at the European level.
It does this by creating awareness of patients’ needs and wishes, encouraging progressive thinking in cancer policy, training and education and promoting European cancer research through the organisation of international multidisciplinary meetings.
In August of 2008, ECCO became full UICC member.
