"The Union for International Cancer Control (UICC) unites the cancer community to reduce the global cancer burden, to promote greater equity, and to integrate cancer control into the world health and development agenda."
The ICCP Portal is a one-stop stop for cancer prevention and control planning. It hosts topic-specific networks across the cancer care continuum that identifies best practices, key resources and gaps in those fields.
Caribbean Family Planning Affiliation (CFPA)
CFPA is the only organization in the Caribbean devoted entirely to sexual and reproductive health. It is a thirteen-member network that promotes high-quality services and critical information throughout the region. CFPA's focus is on governance, fundraising, and capacity building among its members. It has a reputation for its expertise and campaigns that address a range of sexual and reproductive health issues.
In 2013, CFPA called on Caribbean governments to address the issue of adolescent pregnancy with greater urgency. It rallied partners and governments to support a reproductive health bill seeking to harmonize the laws of countries across the region.
CFPA members are the main providers of sexual and reproductive health services in their countries. They are involved in preventing HIV infection, especially among young people, and provide vital health services and educational materials.
