Huge success for 2016 Congress call for sessions

The call for sessions has broken a record counting 270 session proposals from all over the globe.

This success shows a tremendous collaborative effort and engagement from the cancer and NCD community, whom have put their brains together over the last three months, to come up with innovative and exciting proposals.

Submitted sessions present a wide breadth of cross-organisation and cross-sector initiatives, with proposed speakers from all over the world.

The programme, themed “Mobilising Action – Inspiring change”, will cover the following tracks:

Track 1 - Stemming the tide: innovations in prevention and screening
Track 2 - Closing the gap: quality cancer treatment and diagnosis for all
Track 3 - Improving patient and family experiences
Track 4 - Strengthening cancer control: optimising outcomes of health systems
Track 5 (New!) - Empowering civil societies: building capacity for change

All 270 session proposals are currently being carefully reviewed by the appointed Programme Committee, chaired by Prof. Sanchia Aranda and Dr. Anil D’Cruz. Sessions organisers will be notified of the outcome of their session proposals by 31st October 2016.

An online preliminary programme will be released by mid-January 2016.

In the meantime keep an eye out for 25 September 2015 and the start of the Autumn Festival Registration Offer, where participants will be able to register at € 300 only.
