CRUK announces Grand Challenge round 2

Our partner Cancer Research UK is looking for ideas to guide the Grand Challenge advisory panel in reviewing and refreshing the challenges. The call for proposals to tackle those revised challenges will open again in June 2017.

Header Paragraph

The Grand Challenge initiative is a series of £20M awards seeking to address some of the biggest problems in cancer through international, multi-disciplinary team research. In 2015 with help from patients, innovators and the scientific community, Cancer Research UK's advisory panel set seven Grand Challenges that, if tackled, would significantly accelerate progress in cancer research. With the generous support of partners and donors earlier this year CRUK announced £71M funding for four of these remarkable international teams.

CRUK is now looking for ideas to guide the Grand Challenge advisory panel in reviewing and refreshing the challenges. You can submit your ideas until 17 April here. The call for proposals to tackle those revised challenges will open again in June 2017.
