Based on a workshop review in 2013 the applications process was changed to a fixed call format and refocused for support of workshops with impact in cancer control. After a successful pilot at the end of 2013, 2014 has been instrumental to establish, shape and optimize this new format. The second call of this year doubled the number of applications proving the high interest and need in this type of training.

News on individual awards and workshop outcomes is reported on the website and in our series of fellowship newsletters (http://eepurl.com/0jRTn).

Our next big team activity is the World Cancer Congress in Melbourne, Australia (December 03-06). We hope to meet many of you there. The next application deadline for workshops will therefore be March 1st , 2015.
