World Cancer Day - Cyprus

On 4th February, the Cyprus Anti-Cancer Society, the Pan Cyprian Cancer Society of Friends and Patients, the Cyprus Oncology Centre and Europa Donna Cyprus are joining hands.

The event will take place on 4th February in a theatre in Nicosia. The UICC film for the Declaration will be shown, and the chairmen of the four associations will sign the Declaration, as well as the Minister of Health, MPs and others.

After that, the efforts and contribution of a Cypriot volunteer who worked over 30 years in the fight against cancer will be acknowledged.

The event will close with a short music concert.

The whole event is under the auspices of the First Lady, who is also the chairwoman of the Cyprus Oncology Centre.
