World Cancer Day 2012; "Together WE can prevent Cancer"
World Cancer Day, February 4th 2012 will be celebrated via:
- a Press Release on February 3rd informing the public of this day and what it is all about via our Government information system (which goes to all civil servants)
- Cancer prevention tips via our weekly health magazine program "Health Matters" which airs at 7:00pm on Mondays (January 30th and February 6th 2012) and a repeat broadcast at 10:30am on Tuesdays mornings (January 31st and February 7th 2012).
- All schools (Primary and High Schools will be sent information about "World Cancer Day 2012 and their participation sought (via art, craft, skit, jingles, poems)and these will be played on future shows.
- Letters/Press Release will be sent to the churches to read about "World Cancer Day 2012'.
