As from 10th October 2010, everyone in the Netherlands and across the globe has the chance of joining other participants in the ‘Wheel of Energy365’ initiative, 24/7 for 365 days, by taking part in the continuous relay run on the treadmill, but also by raising funds and by collecting signatures for the ‘World Cancer Declaration’ in collaboration with UICC. With the ‘Wheel of Energy365’ initiative at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, the Netherlands are acting as an example for the rest of the world in the fight against cancer. ‘Wheel Of Energy365’ aims to join all forces by getting everyone involved: the government, the healthcare sector, businesses, and as many other participants as possible from the international community. Sport brings people closer together and together we can make a difference!”
