St Johns Hospital is a teritiary care centre in Bangalore.This year hospital had a week long programmes as part of World Cancer Day Feb 4.Hospital theme for this year was -Together We Can Prevent Cancer.Public awareness programmes including distribution of flyers,skits,educational classes were conducted.Hospital also conducted an Art competition and exhibition in the hospital OPD block.Exhibition was a great oppurtunity for the public to see the and understand about cancer.
On Feb 4 hospital conducted a Cancer Survivors Meet attended by many survivors,staff and public.Director of the academy precided over the function.and survivors shared their thoughts .Programme ended with the gathering taking a pledge to fight against cancer.
