Very warm greeting from all of us here at Mathiwos Wondu-YeEthiopia Cancer Society. On behalf of our society and its beneficiaries, we would like to extend our sincere thanks and appreciation for actively participating in some of our awareness creation and prevention activities.

As usual, this year we will be holding a world cancer day program for the sixth year running here in Ethiopia. This year we have decided to organize two programs to observe world cancer and world childhood cancer days. Towards this end we are holding panel discussion next Saturday on cancer and how to familiarize and implement the UN Political Declaration on Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) and conduct walk program on February 26, 2012 here in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The panel discussion will be held on next Saturday February 4, 2012 at Ethiopian National Theater starting 9:30AM.Several senior cancer specialists and oncologists present papers and question and answer session is also included to make the program one of inspirational one.
