TOBACCO KILLS

To sensitize the youth in high schools about the health effect of tobacco and alcohol use. Three high schools have been selected for the public education lectures. The schools have a mixed enrollment (boys and girls). The schools are all day schools.
We will hold lectures, video shows and dramatized skits.
The schools are Kapsoya High School on 27th January, Central High school -4th February, and Top Rift High School - 8th February.
Drugs and substance abuse among the youth in Kenya is a major concern to the Government. The number of youths abusing drugs especially tobacco and alcohol is on the increase and the public education, youth advocacy is considered most effective methods of creating awareness.
