Serbia - 5th Cervical Cancer Prevention Week Actions and Plans

  • The Prevention Week will be launched in Serbia with a press conference to promote the week and the actions that had been organised.
  • Number of lectures will be organised for representatives from all Regional Public Health Institutes.
  • An extensive promotional campaign will be organised before and during the Prevention Week
  • Television advertisements promoting cervical cancer prevention were prepared and broadcast on all major Serbian TV channels.
  • Around 100 lectures and informational sessions will be organised for different target audiences across Serbia for women from the general public and high school pupils to inform them about the importance of cervical cancer prevention. These lectures will include the distribution of the ECCA‟s brochures in Serbian as well as the Pearl of Wisdom pins.
