Seeking members' feedback on the evolution of World Cancer Day

Provide your feedback for a chance to win a 50% discount off your next UICC membership renewal

Header Paragraph

This past 4 February, people everywhere came together to mark World Cancer Day, with over 900 activities taking place in over 100 countries. It was fantastic to see so many UICC members get involved in so many different ways – including wellness activities in South Africa, awareness-raising campaigns for youth in Ghana, an open house in France and free cancer screenings in India.

In the coming weeks, we look forward to sharing a more in-depth report of the highlights, activities and results of World Cancer Day.

It was indeed a year of firsts for World Cancer Day. 2017 saw the launch of the Support through Sport initiative, which aimed to highlight the importance of physical activity in the fight against cancer, as well as the introduction of the custom poster tool which facilitated over 1,600 posters. This year also marked the first time that website visitors could chat online and live with the World Cancer Day team.

As World Cancer Day continues to evolve, we want to ensure the Day remains as relevant to our members, who are instrumental to its success. To help us further understand our members' experience with World Cancer Day 2017, we are inviting every member to provide their feedback via the following survey. Feedback from organisations who did not have the opportunity to participate in World Cancer Day this year is still highly important.

Please click on the following link to access the feedback form:
https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/NYKGFDQ

The form should take between 5 to 10 minutes to complete. All UICC members who respond will have the chance to win a 50% discount off their organisation's next membership renewal, as well as the opportunity to have their organisation featured in an upcoming member newsletter.

The survey closes Monday 27 February, 2017.

The opinions and thoughts of our members are extremely valuable in helping to improve the future development of World Cancer Day and the services offered to all our supporters.
