Royal Villa Oostende
The Royal Villa at the Belgian coast in Oostende is a brand new project :
the former holiday house of the Belgian Royal Family is now reconverted into a oncological health center where cancer patients can recover and combine medical, physical and psychological treatment in a relaxing and stimulating environment.
All funds raised from the World Cancer Diner will go directly to three priority programmes that will ultimately help to reduce the cancer burden:
•The opening of a healthy restaurant where prevention messages on healthy food will be a priority and will help to raise the awareness on a global scale. The Royal Villa wants to spread a loud message on prevention and to learn everybody the simple steps everyone can take to reduce the risk of cancer.
•Finishing the interior of the therapy rooms for cardio- and muscular training sessions to strengthen the patients during their treatments
•Starting up meeting groups with cancer survivors
Come and join us in the fight against cancer through building awareness and contributing to the prevention of cancer worldwide!
