Roundtable “R.E.Kavetsky Institute of Experimental Pathology, Oncology and Radiobiology of NAS of Ukraine - in the context of the current strategy to reduce cancer burden”
R.E.Kavetsky Institute of Experimental Pathology, Oncology and Radiobiology of NAS of Ukraine along with public organizations of Ukraine that are engaged in cancer prevention, directors of schools, authorities, Kiev university students are working together to organise an event on World Cancer Day.
During this event we plan to discuss the issues of developing novel technologies of early and differential diagnosis of cancer and increase public awareness of malignant tumors, the ways to reduce cancer phobia, as well as the questions of timely realization of the necessity of early visits to specialists-oncologists.
The researches of the Institute created significant theoretical and experimental base, which serves for the development of scientific informational and educational institution's activity.
During the roundtable will be highlighted the need for joint efforts of all concerned to problems of overcoming cancer and concentrating on forming valeological outlook, education, especially in the younger generation, conscious and caring for their own health, as a background for cancer prevention.
