Sociedad Paraguaya de Cirurgía Oncológica

The Sociedad organised an event at the Central Hospital in Asunción with media, doctors, patients, patient families, pharmaceutical companies and politicians to raise awareness that cancer can be prevented. At the event, attendees, including Paraguay’s President, Fernando Lugo, signed an accord in which all participants pledge their help in the fight against cancer. The Sociedad Paraguaya de Cirurgía Oncológica used the slogan “Cancer can be prevented too” in Spanish.
