Mobile Breast Care Clinic- Pakistan

The Mobile Breast Care Clinic (MBCC) has been established to provide poor communities in Pakistan with education, medical support and address myths and misconceptions associated with cancer. 

The project aims to educate health care professionals especially doctors, Lady Health Visitors (LHV) and Lady Health workers (LHW) up to primary health care level in basic units to develop their organisational capacity by supporting the implementation of sustainable and successful community based learning for breast cancer and screening programmes.

Organisation
The Cancer Patient Welfare society (CPWS) plays a pivotal role in helping poor cancer patients by providing food, medication and medical facilities. They also raise public awareness about cancer through the electronic and print media.
