We would like to invite all of you to provide your input to the revised version of the Declaration which already incorporates comments that many of you have provided. Thank you to those of you who have participated!
The refresh of the Declaration will ensure its alignment with the recently adopted global Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) framework, and the ongoing Post-2015 discussions.
The revised version of the Declaration will be presented to government officials and high-level policy makers during the World Cancer Leaders’ Summit that will be held in South Africa, on 18-19 November, 2013. If you wish your comments to be incorporated, please send them before 16 September 2013.
In this phase we would like to ask you to rate the refreshed text and tell us how you will use this document in your organisation’s advocacy efforts. UICC will continue to use it as the basis of our advocacy work to position cancer in the post-2015 discussions.
