The ICCP Portal is a one-stop stop for cancer prevention and control planning. It hosts topic-specific networks across the cancer care continuum that identifies best practices, key resources and gaps in those fields.

“New Frontiers in Cancer Control: an Overall View" Conference
When: 10-11 May 2013 Where: Torino, Italy Under the auspices of UICC
The Fondazione Edo ed Elvo Tempia Valenta ONLUS is organising “The new frontiers in cancer control” conference which aims to give a wide overview on "state of the art" cancer control and on the future perspectives, focused on the different oncological fields. The conference represents an opportunity for medical doctors, researchers and experts to network and, at the same time, it is an occasion for the audience to be updated on the heterogeneous and multidisciplinary scientific effort in the global fight against cancer.
European Week Against Cancer (EWAC) Conference

The Irish Cancer Society in partnership with the Association of European Cancer Leagues (ECL) is hosting the official conference for the European Week against Cancer (EWAC) on 29-30 May in the Aviva Stadium, in Dublin. It is a key opportunity for members of UICC to attend and learn about Healthy Lifestyles for Cancer Prevention and Tobacco Control.

Congress "Pathology of the 21st Century"
When: 31 May – 2 June 2013 Where: Guangzhou, China Under the auspices of UICC
As one of MD Anderson’s sister institutes in China, Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center is honored to host this year’s combined Biennial Pathology Symposium and Pathology of the 21st Century (P21) conference in China. The P21 is an international programme at MD Anderson that emphasizes the use of innovative diagnostic tools for neoplastic disorders and new neoplastic entities and classification systems.
The main theme of this conference is novel approaches to the pathological diagnosis and classification of tumors. The conference topics will cover a wide spectrum of neoplastic diseases, such as gynecological tumors, gliomas, thyroid neoplasia, melanocytic lesions, neuroendocrine tumors, colorectal cancer, and prostate cancer. A particular attention will be given to molecular and cytogenetic testing in pathological diagnosis, as well as personalised therapy. Relevant topics, such as the application of and approach to immunohistochemical analyses in tumor pathology and the training of pathologists in the 21st century will also be presented.
Thirteen leading pathologists from MD Anderson and several renowned Chinese pathologists will present lectures and interact with attendees to explore the development of pathology in the 21st century.
