2016 World Cancer Congress

Get inspired by great videos about the 2014 World Cancer Congress!

Header Paragraph

There are various ways to present the World Cancer Congress (WCC) and its numerous activities. One could share key numbers and statistics such as the 35% increase in the Congress participation over the years, the 800 abstracts that were presented and the 120 sessions staged by 350 speakers at the 2014 WCC, or even highlight the presence of the world's leading authorities in cancer such as Prof Ian Frazer or Dr Atul Butte who gave unique touches to our programme in Melbourne; however, we thought it would be better for you to hear about the Congress from our members and partners.

To this end, we’ve gathered a few videos (linked further below), from members and partners at the 2014 WCC, to help build your anticipation for the 2016 World Cancer Congress, and give you inspiration to submit a session proposal to present in Paris.

The call for sessions has been extended to Wednesday 16 September 2015 (deadline of 23:59 CEST) to enable more participants to share their ideas for sessions.

Don’t miss the chance of leaving a lasting impression on more than 3’500 delegates in Paris; as stated by one of our leading members about the Congress in Melbourne:

The opportunities to network with our national and international colleagues, to attend a range of excellent presentations on various aspects of cancer and to understand the significant scope of work being undertaken to reduce the impact of cancer on the global community were invaluable. I look forward to the 2016 World Cancer Congress in Paris to continue to strengthen our international links and collaborations.
Anthony Lowe, Chief Executive Officer, Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia

Your journey to the Congress in Paris starts now and get ready for the official opening of the Congress registration and its Festival d’Automne / Autumn Festival € 300 special offer on the 25 September 2015! Master Courses applications will also open on the same day.
