Ye Ethiopia Cancer Association, founded in 2003, exists to fight cancer and cancer related problems in Ethiopia through provision of adequate information and increasing access to treatment.

Their major activities include advocating to decision makers to ensure that the consideration of cancer is a government priority health issue- They seek to promote the resections of the rights of cancer patients, and psychosocial support for cancer patients and affected families.

In addition, Ye Ethiopia Cancer Association collaborates with relevant organizations in cancer registry and research on cancer issues. They are interested in Orphan and Vulnerable Children, HIV/AIDS, and other chronic disease and reproductive health issues.

Ye Ethiopia Cancer Association became a member of UICC in May 2007.
