Light the Pink was organized to support the World Breast Cancer Month and to prepare the young doctors of Vietnam to fight back Cancer!

In support to the World Breast Cancer Month, MAKNA Malaysia organized a training programme for about 40 medical students from Hanoi Medical University, in partnership with the National Cancer Institute of Vietnam also UICC member and the HMU Health Club.

The programme was focused on preparing the students to handle and manage awareness and prevention campaigns related to Breast Cancer, and set the ground for future MAKNA initiatives related to Cancer Control in Vietnam.

The students were challenged at the end of the three-days course to create their very own awareness campaigns. MAKNA will encourage all the students to apply what they have learned and put their ideas into motion! Expect new and exciting campaigns going on in Vietnam in the future, all thanks to these young doctors creative minds!
